A letter from Lasso President, Jared Verteramo.

I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.

With the recent announcement by Stadia Ventures that Lasso is participating in their esteemed Spring 2020 Accelerator Program, I wanted to share some exciting news: I have joined Lasso full-time as President, where I will help lead the team effort to successfully execute our growth strategy and establish Lasso as an impactful, empowering and trusted brand.

So what is Lasso? We are a company that supports movement by creating compression apparel to help people move smarter and with more confidence. Our first product, a compression sock, uses our patented compression technology to mimic the benefits and effects of ankle or kinesio taping. To learn more, please go to our website, www.lassogear.com.

Steve Jobs once said that you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future."

My career has taught me the importance of finding meaning in the work you do and that the best situation is when work does not really feel like work at all, but an extension of values that considers all stakeholders, including the opportunity to improve the lives of others outside the organization. That is the opportunity we have at Lasso, and I am proud and humbled to work alongside CEO and founder Partha Unnava and the rest of the team towards achieving that goal.

I would like to take a moment to address the current crisis. In addition to providing those at home the support, education and content needed to stay active, it is also important that we do what we can to help those on the front lines. This lends itself to what we stand for at Lasso and our compression socks (made in the U.S.) provide an extra layer of support whether at home exercising or working around the clock at a medical clinic.

As such, we are looking to collaborate with organizations to create a solution that incentivizes and enables our product to reach more people in time of need. Please message me if you or someone you know would like to discuss working together.

2020 is certainly off to a challenging start and my family and I, first and foremost, wish the health of everyone. We have a lot of work to do as a society to repair and rebuild, but just as I am confident that we will be successful growing Lasso, I am confident we will all be able to band together as a community and come out of this stronger, kinder and ready to hit the ground running (in Lasso socks, of course).

I look forward to connecting soon!

Best,

Jared
